Media Release

By checking this box, I grant Women Building America, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the WBA”) permission to use photographs, video recordings, or audio of me taken during the volunteer activities for promotional or informational purposes, in any medium, without compensation.

Liability Waiver & Release

In consideration for being allowed to volunteer for camp functions and related recreational activities organized by the WBA, I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree to the following: :

1. Voluntary Participation – I understand that I am voluntarily choosing to participate as a volunteer with Women Building America (WBA). I recognize the nature of the activities I will be involved in and accept any associated risks.
2. Assumption of Risk – I understand that volunteer activities may involve physical activity, handling tools or materials, and exposure to potentially hazardous conditions. I voluntarily accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, or property damage that may occur, including those resulting from the negligence of WBA, its staff, or volunteers.
3. Waiver and Release – I release and hold harmless WBA, its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and volunteers from any liability, claims, or demands that may arise from my participation in volunteer activities.
4. Medical Treatment – In the event of an accident, injury, or illness, I authorize WBA to provide or seek medical treatment on my behalf. I agree to be financially responsible for any related costs.
5. Compliance with Policies – I agree to follow all WBA rules, policies, and instructions while volunteering. I understand that failure to do so may result in my removal from volunteer activities.
6. Binding Agreement – This release is binding upon me, my heirs, executors, and assigns, and will be interpreted under applicable state and federal law.
