About this role
Operations Team Volunteers (General Event Support) ensure camp runs smoothly and campers feel supported from start to finish. This is a 2-hour shift, and you are welcome to sign up for more than one shift based on your availability. No prior construction experience is required.
OPERATIONS Volunteer tasks include:
- Camper check-in/out
- Guiding campers from classroom area to workshop
- Introducing Activities
- Making Announcements
- Preparing goodie bags
- Handing out T-shirts and/or goodie bags
- Setting up snacks/lunch
- Picking up lunch if necessary
- Food clean up
- Helping with end of day cleanup
- Assist with emergencies (call emergency contact on file, first aid assistance, etc.)
- Monitor overall safely in the workshop
- Assist with construction in non-technical tasks
